Screening Notes

Hilarious pets, Superman, Batman and their DC Universe friends, Dwayne “the Rock” Johnson, Kevin Hart, Kate McKinnon, what’s not to like…kids will LOVE the storyline but have to note there are a few mildly tense scenes with some peril and danger, so the younger kiddos may be a bit wide-eyed. Great animation and clever banter…”Merton the Turtle” has some great one-liners and was my personal favorite.

Boxoffice Estimate

Kids animated films have proven the perfect fuel to help jumpstart the 2022 post-Covid industry recovery. Kicking off with Sonic 2, The Bad Guys, Lightyear, Minions and Paws of Fury, DC Super Pets will keep the kids happy and industry momentum going through the final days of summer.

Modeling lands at an opening weekend totaling $60M, with a range between $55M and $67M; the total gross should range between $146 and $178M. Another great solid base hit for the Industry!
